Shipping policy

All products are shipped via UPS or FedEx SIGNATURE REQUIRED (unless otherwise specified).

Please allow up to 48 hours to process and ship out any orders that were placed that were “in-stock” at the time of purchase; orders for items that are not in-stock can take much longer. if you have a time sensitive shipment, please send us a text, email, or contact us via live chat during business hours to ensure there are no delays.

All products are shipped out from one of our authorized Modz Life LLC shipping locations. Modz Life LLC drop-ships about 75% of most orders directly from the manufacturer/vendor. We do however house a “live inventory” on around 25% of our products. All Special arrangements may need to be made for international orders and oversize packages.

We have 3 main warehouses strategically located throughout the US which house live inventory. You can easily find out whether a product is in stock or not by looking at the "Product Availability" section of the product. This can be found underneath the product sku or part number. We have three categories generally speaking which are: 'Regularly Stocked Product, "Special Order", or Back-ordered."

Regularly stocked products are our "In Stock" items and will have a clear product count which can be located right below the price of the product. It will be enclosed by an orange rectangle and will give clear product count.

Special Order products are special ordered from the manufacturer and will require time for the manufacturer to ship out. These times vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. All parts that are considered "Special Order" are labeled as such on our website and are followed with a pop-up message prior to placing the order to let the customer be made aware that they are ordering a special ordered item.

Back Order products are back ordered from the manufacturer and require the same amount of time that a special order item will require. All parts that are considered "Back Order" are labeled as such on our website and will give a pop-up message prior to placing the order to let the customer be made aware that they are ordering a back-ordered item.

 Both special order and back ordered products will give a clear warning prior to placing the order by a popup so that there are no confusions once the order has been placed. ALL special order items are non refundable once the order has been placed so please pay attention and read what the popup says before placing your order.

In the event a product arrives damaged to your location, please follow the steps listed below.  All damaged items must be reported to the shipping carrier immediately and you must notify Modz Life LLC within 48 Hours of receiving your order. If these steps are not followed, your shipment may be denied claim by the shipping company and or Modz Life.

If you receive a damaged product, please do the following:

  • IMMEDIATELY CONTACT US
  • Keep the product with its original packaging and box
  • Make a list of the damaged or lost item(s)
  • Modz Life LLC will contact the shipper once we receive the email info above to schedule a pickup if needed.  DO NOT send it back to the return address without written approval from Modz Life LLC.

Once the product is received back and inspected, a replacement or credit will be issued.

The shipping rates shown at time of checkout on our site are based on a weight guesstimate and then formulated via a UPS shipping program.  The rates do not consider dimensions.  If your shipment weight is higher than the online cart can process, please contact us for a shipping quote. If there is an error in the shipping rate quoted we will contact you and let you know of the changes. International orders (Outside the USA) are not automatically processed as we may require additional information from you.

 

An order that has shipped from our location or a supplier cannot be cancelled, these are classified as returns.  Unfortunately, once it has shipped restocking fees will apply if they are applicable.  Special order items, custom built items will not be able to be returned.  For this reason, it is extremely important to check your invoice or order form. 

 

If a product is ordered and not wanted, the UNUSED item can be returned for a 25% restocking fee. In some cases, we may offer the ability to return the item to us for a lesser restocking fee and then keep the balance as a store credit.  To return an item, it must be in brand new condition with original packaging.  If the item cannot be resold or is a special order or custom-made item, we cannot accept a return.  Shipping is nonrefundable in either direction unless approved by Modz Life LLC. All items wanting to be returned MUST be reported within 30 days of the original invoice date. Absolutely NO items will be returnable after 30 days without exception. All products shipped from any of the Modz Life LLC warehouses are shipped via FedEx, USPS, UPS, DHL or Freight and require a signature when delivered. Some packages shipped from the manufacturer may or may not require signatures for package release. FedEx, UPS, USPS, and DHL have package pick up locations if you are unable to sign for the package.  If the package is returned to Modz Life LLC or manufacturer without an RMA from us, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs and pay a 25% restocking fee if you choose to not have the item reshipped. These fees will be charged to your account on file or will be invoiced to you. 

Special Order Items
Some items may be special order specifically for the customer’s vehicle.  Once a customer places an order for any item in our store that is labeled as “special order”, the transaction becomes non-refundable.  These special-order items cannot be returned or resold.  Cancellations or refunds are not allowed on any special order parts. 

International Shipping
All international shipments may be subject to customs fees, import duties and taxes. Any charges associated with the importation of products purchased from Modz Life LLC or our affiliates are the responsibility of the buyer. Any costs resulting from the refusal to import a product purchased through Modz Life LLC or our affiliates may result in additional charges.

MODZ LIFE LLC DOES NOT REFUND SHIPPING CHARGES.  If you modify, install, or alter the item in any form, we cannot accept it as a return.  We will not cover any expenses related to the product or installation, and you may be required to purchase a replacement.

In the event that the product you ordered is sent either incorrectly or processed wrong by Modz Life LLC, we will arrange for the package to come back to us and ship out a replacement.  We will evaluate the situation before we determine the shipment was incorrect.
